Finally the first sod was turned on our long awaited 9-a-side pitch today. It took a lot of hard work and fundraising events to get to this stage. This is a fundemental step forward for our Club
having a purpose build pitch for our small sided game. Hopefully it will be ready for its first game to play after Christmas. Thanks to all who helped us get to this stage!!!!

St Francis FC fun day for all the kids this Sunday in Browns Barn, Naas Road from 12-3 p.m., there will a DJ providing entertainment and food will be provided for the kids. Presentations will be made to the schoolboy teams that won DDSL medals. Before next season's preparations kick in this is a great chance for all the kids to bond and have a good time, all are welcome.

St Francis FC Summer Camp Announced.
This years Summer Camp will be run in conjunction with Elite Soccer Academy which include League of Ireland players.
The camp is on from Mon 04-July to Fri 08-July and costs €65 per child, it promises to be a fun week for all in a safe, secure environment run by fully qualified coaches.

A general meeting will be held on Monday 13th June at 7pm in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel.
This meeting is for all Committee Members, Managers, Assistant Manager and all those involved with the running of St Francis Football Club. St Francis FC will be holding a fundraiser in the Dean Swift, Dublin 8 on Friday 27th May in aid of one of our former players, Terry Hillard, who died recently very suddenly and at an early age, can all members please try to support this worthy cause for one of the legends of our club.

St Francis U16 in SFAI semi final this Sunday 8-May in Baldonnel.
Our U16's entertain Cobh Ramblers this Sunday in the SFAI All Ireland semi final cup, the club would like to wish Paul, Stuart and all the lads the best of luck on the day. HOT SHOTS ACADEMY CHANGE OF VENUE THIS WEEK!!
Our academy will be held in Baldonnel this Sunday morning from 11-11:50, to get directions please go to our Directions page. St Francis FC Easter Soccer Camp will be held from 25-29 April in John Hyland Park. The camp will run from 10:30 to 2 every day for all kids aged 5-12, it promises to be a great week of fun with qualified coaches in a safe environment, cost is €50 per child, more details to follow on our Upcoming Events page.

On Thursday the 21-April our Under 12's will entertain St Pauli of Hamburg in a friendly game at JHP at 6:30 p.m. This a great chance to raise our club profile, please show your support for Damian and the lads on the night.

Terry Hillard R.I.P.
St Francis FC would like to offer it’s condolences to the family of ex St Francis player Terry Hillard after he passed away. Terry was a member of our most famous team and played in that fantastic FAI Senior Cup final that will never be forgotten against Bray Wanderers in Landsdowne Road in front of over 20,000 fans.

St Francis FC small sided teams shine in Leicester Celtic tournament.
In what was a very well organised and run small sided blitz in Leicester's ground on a freezing cold Saturday our U9A and U10A teams warmed the spirits with fantastic displays of attacking football to win both tournaments. In fact the Under 9's managed to win both the cup and shield tournaments!

NO LOTTO DRAW THIS WEEK
Due to the weather conditions in the last week not many lotto tickets were collected again by the club, it has therefore been decided by the club to suspend the Lotto draw for this week, any lotto tickets sold in the last week will be put into the first draw of 2011.
The lotto draw will resume in 2011 where the jackpot will be €1400.
The club would like to thank all managers, players, volunteers, parents and anyone else who sold lotto tickets for the club in 2010, the lotto is the financial lifeblood of the club and it wouldn't survive without all the help that those mentioned provide, thank you all and well done! 13-Dec 2010

As per our lotto draw the club have had difficulties in collecting tickets for our Super Draw over the past few weeks due to weather conditions affecting training etc. The club have therefore decided to defer the Super Draw until early in the New Year, the club would like to apologise for any inconvenience.

St Francis FC claim first trophies of the season!!!
What a way to kick off the season, our Under 10A team won the prestigious Kells/Blackwater tournament remaining unbeaten all the way through. Well done to Mark, Liam, Gavin and all the lads, this team is one of our biggest hopes for the season and what a great way to start, well done again. Here's a pic of the lads with the trophy
 And that's not it.....in what we hope is going to be a great team our Under 7A team won the Corduff tournament beating St Kevins in the final. Huge congratulations must go to Bernard, Ray and the lads and hopefully this is a sign of things to come from this team, well done again. Here's a pic of the lads on the day of the tournament.
